What service do you use to ship items?
Canada Post; Canada: flat (less than 2 cm in thickness) items will be sent regular mail, no insurance or tracking, larger than 2cm thickness (ie baby carriers) expedited small business with tracking and insurance or I may split shipment in two letters.
US and international: air parcel post, insured but no tracking. More expensive items to US and Canada only (I'll use service with insurance and tracking).
I do not use surface service, it's too S L O W !

Where are the items made?
They're all made by me from start to finish, I choose the fabrics, most are imported (I travel lots) and unique. I don't like boring patterns however do carry lots of neutral colours.

How do I know if item will fit?
Measure and be sure; I provide extremely accurate measurements and fabrics are pre-laundered (no surprise shrinking). My ponchos are measured from side to side (ie double the size for circumference) and are very large.
Occasionally I have some extra large ones , these will state this. I started making these ponchos and wraps as a request from my "above average" moms. I have since last year (started selling these in early 2011), gone down a bit in size when asked by one of my retailers.

Do you have videos of how to use your ponchos/wraps?
Yes I do, search UCHI ponchos on youtube and UCHI 3 in 1 Wraps

How different are your slings from other ring slings?
My 3 in 1 UCHI wraps come with the rings separate: this is what allows you to use it in more than one way. For instance, the wrap is elegant enough to wear as a scarf/wrap/stole and doubles as a nursing cover (with the viewing neckline cover). The entire 3 in1 system can be used with ANY other fabric!
If you prefer it sewn; I'll stitch it securely with 3 rows of stitching at no extra charge, however I will not include the nursing cover conversion kit or the clip on strap. You'll just have a sling.
The length of my "thread yourself slings" is the length of the wrap/scarf, you'll fold over about 8 " when you use it as a ring sling carrier.
I include detailed photograph step by step instructions for 2 different methods of threading the rings for all my 3 in 1 slings and links to safe baby carrier use.

Do you custom make ponchos?
Yes I do. That's what got me started. Some women prefer a rounded edge or one rounded edge/one pointy one for back and front, or no "zigzag stitching" but serged edges only. Let me know your preferences. Most ponchos are ready made, but I have others ready to be sewn and can customize the look for you!
